Wall of Fame Sarge Tournament

In 1956, Sarg Fontanini made Iowa Golf History by becoming the first amateur golfer from Iowa to play in the Masters.  Twenty-seven years

after he began his golfing career as a caddy at the Wakonda Club, Sarg stepped foot onto Augusta National 

hallowed grounds.

The Chiodo Family in 2008, with the approval of the Fontanini Family and Grandson of Sarg Fontanini (Brian Morlan), host a Amateur Tournament in his honor every year on Labor Day Weekend.
